Principal Message

As the Principal of the school, I feel honored and privileged to be part of an educational institution where every stakeholder is a learner and every day is an opportunity to learn and discover. We look at ourselves as a community of learners, where everyone learns including our teachers, parents & staff.

I believe in upholding high standards with an absolute commitment to strive to understand and improve the educational process, using team strategies, while wholly centering on student achievement.

Our staff fruitfully employ two diverse strategies that are of love and logic to foster a positive learning environment for all our students. Love and Logic may seem like two contrasting forces. While love helps nurture trusting relationships, where students feel respected, appreciated and loved by the teachers, logic helps develop in students personal responsibility, self control, good decision making skills self confidence  and  character building with high moral values.

Letter to Parents for Online Classes

Dear Parents,

In the light of the COVID-19 outbreak and the subsequent directives by the Government Authorities has lead to the closure of schools and is obstructing the learning of the students. We understand, the massive closures present a daunting challenge for both students and parents, yet we would seek your cooperation in the wake of this pandemic, to make this time a productive and happy one for our students. We are initiating a process to provide fruitful academic experiences for our children and therefore we plan to go for online teaching.

The school and all the teachers are working hard to give that routine back to students soon through virtual learning and online classes.  learning though online content,  pre-recorded videos, taking live online classes, preparing worksheets and assignments from home. Thus, soliciting your support, we would request you to make necessary arrangements at home (wi-fi connections, smart phones, accessibility to laptops or PC’s for students, etc.), so that children can attend the online sessions.

Furthermore, for making this effective we have chalked out year plan, detailed time table and process of connecting over ZOOM Platform will be made available to you through what’s app and Edumerge by the school. The teachers will be conducting Online Orientations also with parents and students to help you understand the rubrics of virtual learning. The schedule and the invite by the individual subject teachers will be shared/ with/to you as per scheduled , along with online content (in absence of books)/ videos/ worksheets, presentations assignments etc.

In times of uncertainty we are not sure when we will be able to resume regular classes and also depend on the directives of the government. As this is a new initiative by the School, the Management, the teachers are trying to ensure that the learning continues. We have new challenges to face as all of us will also be doing it for the first time, so we request to be a part of this journey and support us in this endeavour of ours.

Furthermore, as families across the globe and now in our own districts, are asked to stay home to help contain the spread of the novel coronavirus, parents of children in all age groups are left with a lot of time each day that could be filled with structured activities.  We also recommended that parents be selective about what children watch, limit their own technology use and create a space for family members to talk about their worries, as well as study through school online initiatives.

Be Careful! Be Safe! Be Happy! Spend time with your loved ones!

"PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE FOR Teachers day 2021-22"

Mother gives birth to child, teacher gives Life. ‘Teachers’ day is observed to pay respect to the teachers of our country. Teachers are regarded as the back-bone of our society. They have the greatest contribution to build up the character of students and help them to become ideal citizens of our country.

On this special day, we should not forget one of the great role models Dr Radhakrishnan who always keep on reminding us the importance of a teacher. Teacher is a mentor who always does his best to shape a good human being in us. At the same time, on this Teacher’s Day I would like to give a message to the parents of our loving students that You are the ultimate role models for children. Your every word, movement and action has an impact on your child. No other person or outside force has a greater influence on a child than the parent.

Parents are the children’s first teachers. When a young child begins formal school, the parent’s job is to show him how school can extend the learning he began together at home, and how exciting and meaningful this learning can be. As preschoolers grow into school age kids, parents become their learning coaches. Through guidance and reminders, parents help their kids organize their time and support their desires to learn new things in and out of school.

There is a beautiful saying: “A loving atmosphere in your home is the foundation for your Life”. Family atmosphere is the foundation behind every person and it leads to the character development of them. Family is the mirror through which they see the world. It gives them the initial understanding about the world outside the window and from these bits and pieces they create their own understanding and point of view.

Students are the future of our country and the future of our country depends upon the moral values imparted to them during their student life. Teaching moral values to children has become a subject of deep interest, powerful concern and enormous priority. Children have an immense power of observation and their feelings are deep rooted. They always observe their parents at home. The parents really need to focus on teaching their children morals, because it will shape the character of the individual and help him to become a better person. These morals will help guide the child throughout their lifetime.

These days it is sad to see around so many broken families and the ultimate sufferer is the child. When we bring children into this world, it is clearly our responsibility to create a safe and loving environment – one that will nurture the child and help him to develop into a confident and responsible adult. One of the key factors of this safe environment is a positive relationship between parents.

Researchers at the Center on the Developing Child, Harvard University shared that “when (the) home is not stable” executive function skills may be impaired, or may not develop at all, limiting a child’s success in elementary school and later life. “This means that a stable home environment is vital for children to thrive in school and in life. Ultimately, our children need to feel safe and loved to be ready for school. Only then they can begin to focus on learning and doing their best in school. A positive and relaxed environment at home will help your child concentrate on studies and learn better. As a parent, you have the biggest responsibility of creating the right environment for your child as it will affect his/her personality, learning and behavior. Environment and child development are correlated.

Lastly I would like to sum up with a very beautiful saying “A teacher should inspire child to reach academic success, A Parent should inspire their child to use that success in a way that influences positive change in the world”. So let us jointly put efforts in bringing up the best of our children.

"PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE FOR INDEPENDENCE DAY 2019-20"

“Freedom is essential to the pursuit of happiness. Freedom is essential to artistic evolution and expression. Freedom is essential to the expansion of the human mind. Freedom is essential to the creation of an individual’s will, motivations, preferences, and unique talents. In essence, freedom is essential to the success and progress of humanity.”

Today we celebrate the 73rd Independence Day of our great Nation. On this joyous occasion I convey my greetings and good wishes to all the Amara Vidya Niketan Primary and High school and their near and dear ones and pray for their peace, progress and prosperity.

On this auspicious day, 72 years ago, India attained freedom from colonial rule and the people of our country became the masters of their destiny. All in all, the past 72 years have been momentous; despite of serious challenges on various fronts, including several attacks on the territorial integrity of India, we have been able to keep the flame of democracy burning bright. Today our country is a well established democratic country all over the world. We should not forget the contribution of our forefathers who fought for us, our freedom. We are so lucky that our freedom fighters have given us a land of peace and happiness where we can sleep whole night without fear and enjoy whole day in our school or home.

At the same time, I feel sad to see around so many problems. We always talk about the corruption, poverty etc. In my view, Communalism is affecting everyone. Communalism is one of the most serious problems that India is still facing even after getting the freedom. This problem has existed among the followers of religious communities. In the name of religion such acts have been committed that are no doubt shameful and an act of fleeing from the message of great freedom fighters who lead the country to the door steps of freedom through non-violence, the sacred human value. “Communalism is cruel and unjust. It cuts deep and lingers long in individual and community memories. And it is not a thing of the past….We all have a duty to do what we can to turn this around”. We are witnessing so many heartwarming incidents these days whether it be ‘cow brigade’ or atrocities against the under-privileged and the poor. It is pity that because of such problems the innocents have to suffer a lot and many a times have to pay heavy price including sacrificing their lives. It is the time when we need to understand that this problem can only result in hatred among people of different communities. We should not forget

“Anti-Communalism starts from you”. According to Richard C. Lambert-“Communalism is the negative aspect of the community. That is to say, when the people of a particular community care only for their own narrowly concerned interests, through the means of their religious faiths, old customs and conservative practices, disregarding the interests of whole society”. Thus, in order to get rid of the problem of communalism in India, there is a need of collective efforts. All will have to discharge their duties. If we do so, definitely harmony will prevail.

Let us hope that at least the present and future generations, may be liberated from these problems and for that we need to start a basic understanding right from the roots of every child through proper education and understanding that getting corrupted is not the key, but being a respectable and dignified leader is what it all counts.

On a positive note, let us strive to make our country a better and safe place by following the values and principles taught by our great leaders. Let us spread awareness, knowledge, values and gain wisdom. Let us make this our Independence Day resolution. If each individual of our country follows these basic principles he/she would grow, so would his/her family, his/her surroundings and eventually it would lead our country to become a great nation. Therefore let us make a promise on this auspicious Independence day and let us make India our motherland shine even brighter into our future by joining hands together and keeping in mind

“Where there is Unity, there is always Victory”

"PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE FOR Investiture Ceremony 2019-20"

This election is more important in school life what two things that I expect from the leader in two simple words being ethical and serving others.

A true  leader is not someone who wants the position for the sake of power but wants the position to serves others.

Being ethical, ethical is a very small word but it holds a world inside. Ethical is what define you when you grow up.

Leadership is not a position not a title. It is ACTION and EXAMPLE.

Being ethical is being sure that you are doing the right things when we say right things, its not just right things but doing it in a right way. Being identify right from wrong. Any Action of yours should have a positive effect on the community on all the students of our school and in the place you live in should translate in to meaningful. ACTION for everyone this is what leadership is all about.

This is not easy, not easy at all, because you are going to have friends, other students in your class or school with whom you are not very popular, or few may say oh you are doing this because you are a leader or a captain so and so, but never the less

A TRUE LEADER IS ALWAYS REMAIN DETERMIND

The determination doesn’t come from external influence. The determination should come from inside. You should remain determined in your motto. When I have taken the oath  and agreed to abide to certain things those should remain as your focal point

Being ethical is also about being focused you can’t remain ethical if you loose focus their will be lot of temptation in your way. Lot of pressure on your way but all you have to remember that being ethical you would face challenges at times thing, wouldn’t go in your favor , at times you may hear certain things but if you remain to be honest and ethical your path would be fine. Later you would discuss you have grown up to be very fine person and a great leader.

The main aim of our school is not just to have  a student council who in vibes or portage good  values  instead to have the whole student community who is sharing the same  vibes and values and displaying them where ever we are as we go along.

As you all step forward in this path we all pray and wish that you will go into the community as TRUE LEADERS  who  embody the TRUE SPIRIT OF

HUMANITY , SERVICE and  EMPATHY

The three pillars of what every HUMAN BEING SHOULD BE.

We could be successful in our workplaces, we could earn a lot of money but if you do not have the three qualities then we are not  GOOD HUMAN BEINGS.

The whole endeavor of our school education  of LEADERSHIP is to create individuals who have EMPATHY and who remember their task in this world is not just to fill their coffers but to SERVE HUMANITY.

With this I wish all the very best to the new student council 2019 – 20 and I hope the other students who are sitting would remember that they have to display the same values that I expect of this student council. Thank you very much.

It’s indeed a proud moment for all the parents also a proud moment to all the children / students to be taking the OATH not in just front of their peers but also in front of their Teachers  who have lot of Aspiration in them.

The moment when they step on to their journey I wish all the best to all the students here on behalf of the entire school community, teachers, parents and the school management committee.

I would also like to remind them that they are not in the position of POWER but in the position of service as LEADERS

Continues to serve the school and the community you live in and uphold the  standards of Amara Vidya Niketan and also take it to the higher heights

Thank you
